The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli is a public graduate business school located on Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai National Highway 336, Tamil Nadu, India.

It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Management the Indian government had set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and was mentored by IIM Bangalore.

The Institute temporarily operated at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli campus and the permanent campus was inaugurated on April 03, 2017 by Prakash Javadekar.

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli's permanent campus is located on a 172.27 acres (69.72 ha) land.

In its full shape, the ₹584 crore permanent campus will consist of student hostels, faculty residences, a library, recreational facilities and a Management Development Centre.

The Indian Institute of Management Trichy has set up a satellite campus at Chennai.

IIM Tiruchirappalli has separate hostel building for boys and girls.

The hostel facility is placed near the academic block. The boys hostel is called Beryl. All basic amenities have been provided in the rooms.

It has a recreation room with indoor games such as table tennis and carom, LCD television.

Separate Girls hostel on the other hand is also situated well within the NIT campus.

It is located in a picturesque block that is abundantly green and sufficiently well-lit.

Among a host of facilities provided are a gymnasium as well as large open spaces that allow for socializing, outdoor activities as well as celebration of various festivals.

For both the hostels, vegetarian as well as non- vegetarian food is served in the mess along with select beverages and snacks.

All rooms in the hostels have Wi-Fi access and are thus, very handy for students, who can continue their studies unhindered.

A host of newspapers and magazines are also available, to keep the students abreast of the latest happenings from around the world.
