Hey the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is a public institution established by the Government of India, located in Guwahati, in the state of Assam in India. Well the MA in the Development Studies is the 2 year course The programme is designed to provide an understanding of various perspectives of development issues, through rigorous course works and guided research. The programme has a maximum of 48 seats. MA in the Development Studies Admission Process The admission is conducted through an entrance test for which the announcement is made around the month of February, March. There is a reservation norms as per government rules. The test is conducted in the month of June. A part of the test consists of multiple choice questions. The other part is descriptive. The areas which are covered are current affairs, contemporary economy, politics, society, as well as logical reasoning. Currently the only centre for taking the test is IIT Guwahati.
