I have got the success to take admission in IIT Guwahati by IIT JEE rank. I will stay in hostel of the institute. Please share the images of the facilities offered in the IIT Guwahati hostel so according to images I can get to know there what things I should take with me.

The IIT Guwahati has nine full-fledged hostels, including one girls’ hostel and one new boys’ hostel which is coming up. Brahmaputra, Kapili, Dihing, Dibang, Manas, Kameng, Umiam, Siang and Barak are the boy’s hostels, while Subansiri is the girls hostel.

Each hostel has various facilities:
A multipurpose common room,
A TV room where the environment gets really hot during Indo-Pak matches and the English Premier League,
A T.T. room, carom and a gym (in some cases),
A volley ball court
A badminton court, depending on the hostel you find yourself in, along with a multi-purpose playground.

In addition, there is also the Reading room where you will find the latest magazines and a plethora of newspapers.

Each room in every hostel is connected to the institute LAN (Local Area Network). Internet facility is provided in individual rooms.
