Kurukshetra University is a university established on 11 January 1957 in Kurukshetra in the Indian state of Haryana, 160 kilometres from the capital, Delhi. It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities

Hostel details:

University has presently 12 hostels for women. All the University hostels are under the supervision of the Chief Wardens.

All the hostels are well equipped with all modern facilities i.e. 24 hours water supply, Electricity, Separate mess, T.V facility, Tuck shop, 24 hours Security, Common room, Medical facility, etc.

1. Terms for the session shall be as under:

(i). For Under-Graduate students : From June to May of the year

(ii).For Post-Graduage students : From July to June of the year

2. Rates of Hostel Charges:

(a) Accommodation : Rs.15/-p.m.

(b) Water Charges : Rs.10/-p.m.

(c) Electricity Charges : Rs.50/-p.m.

(d) Fan & Geyser Charges : Rs.25/-p.m.

Hostel Share:

(e) Establishment Charges : Rs.20/-p.m. To be

(f) Common Room : Rs.40/-p.m. realized in

(g) Utensils and Furniture : Rs.25/-p.m. mess receipt

(h) Dilapidation Fund : Rs.15/-p.m. book
