The IIT Roorkee Convocation ceremony 2017 is for all graduating students, who have completed the eligibility requirements in the academic year 2016-17

The Convocation ceremony 2017 will be held this year on two successive days for UG, PG and PhD students in the Convocation hall at Roorkee campus of IIT Roorkee.

Eligibility for Convocation

All those students of UG, PG and PhD who have completed the degree requirements by September 11, 2017 will be awarded degree in Convocation 2017.

Dress Code For Convocation 2017-

Degree recipients will be wearing WHITE Kurta, BLACK Trouser, and BLACK Leather Shoes, and place ANGVASTRA around the neck.

White Kurta and Angvastra will be provided by the institute as a part of Convocation Kit.

Students who do not take part in the Full dress rehearsal will not be allowed to attend the Convocation

Angvastra will be of specific colour as per the degree/programme. These are:

a. PhD degree - Scarlet

b. M.Tech - Blue

c. M.Sc. - Greenish Grey

d. MBA - Red Brown

e. B.Tech/ Int. / IDD / IMS - Light Blue

f. B.Arch. – Yellow
