Eligibility for the Direct Entry Petty Officer: –

12th in any stream with sports position 6th at National/ Senior level or 4th position at State/ youth level.

Age limit –

17 to 22 years (born between 01 August 1994 to 31 July 1999).

Eligibility for the Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR):–

– 10+2 in any stream and should have International/ National/ State level Participated certificate or 5th position in NCC/ SCC Nationals.

Age limit –

17 to 21 years (Born Between 01 August 1995 to 31 July 1999).

Eligibility for Matric Recruits (MR) for Cooks or Stewards: –

– 10th or its Equivalent with 5th position in national/ state level tournament.

Age limit – 17 to 21 years (Born Between 01 October 1995 to 30 September 1999).


Salary offered

During the initial training period of Rs 5700 per month.

On completion of training, they will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2000 per month.

Physical standards test:-

Height – Minimum height for male candidates 157 centimeters.

Weight and chest should be proportionate.

Minimum chest expansion of 5 centimeter.

Permanent body tattoos on any part of the body are permitted to candidates belonging to tribal communities/ from tribal areas as declared by the Government of India.
