Built up in the Year 1956, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya "IKSV" is arranged in the Khairagarh township of Chhattisgarh State of India. An alternate University by its sort, where advanced education is granted in the field of Music, Dance, Fine Arts and Theater. Good Governor of the Chhattisgarh State is the Chancellor and Administrative cum Academic Head of I.K.S.V.Khairagarh.

The then leaders of regal province of Khairagarh, Raja BIRENDRA BAHADUR SINGH and his associate Rani PADMAVATI DEVI SINGH gave their hereditary royal residence to set up a University of Music and Fine Arts as tribute to their little girl Princess 'INDIRA'.

IKSV is the Asia's first University which is completely committed to different types of Music, Dance, Fine Arts and Theater. Admission Process

Aptitude Test

1. Qualification For Admission Is Based On The Grand Total Of Marks, Both In Theory And Practical, Obtained In The Qualifying Examination.

2. The Applicants Are Required To Pass Through An Aptitude Test For The Admission To The Concerned Course.

3. Affirmation Will Be Given On Approval Of The Departmental Admission Committee On The Basis Of The Candidate's Performance.
