Maximum Age For BPSC Exam
I have decided to apply for the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Exam and searching for some details related to this exam. Can you please tell what the Maximum Age For BPSC Exam along with education qualification required also tell what the BPSC selection process?

The Full Form Of BPSC is Bihar Public Service Commission. The BPSC Exam is conducted every year by the Bihar State Government. The Maximum Age Limit: a) For General Candidates : 19-24 years. b) For OBC Candidates : 19-27 years. c) For SC/ST Candidates : 19-29 years. The Minimum educational qualification required for the BPSC Exam is Graduation from any recognized college/university. So, Being an OBC Candidate , you can appear for the BPSC Exam unless and until your age crosses 27 years. Educational qualification Candidates should have a bachelor degree from recognized university. Candidates must posses bachelor degree from their respected field such as for Medical Officer candidates should have a M.B.B.S/B.D.S/Biotechnology degree where as for Judicial Officer must have a bachelor degree in Law. Selection Process :- Selection of Candidates will be done in three phases.These are Preliminary Exam,Mains Exam and Personal Interview. Preliminary Exam will include questions from two papers and each paper will include 100 questions. Total duration for each paper will be 02 hours and each paper will be of 200 marks. Paper I (Objective Type) : History and Geography with special reference to Bihar state. Civics and Economics with special reference to Bihar state. General Knowledge and Current Affairs with special reference to Bihar state. English Grammar and Comprehension. Paper II (Objective Type) : General Intelligence and Reasoning. Numerical Ability and Data Interpretation. English Essay. |
