MBA but Bad at Math
Can you tell me if it is logical for me to pursue CAT or Common Admission Test for admission in MBA (Master in Business Administration) course if not good at Maths as I am very confused about it?

Re: MBA but Bad at Math
I don't think and MBA requires much math. The quant section of the CAT or Common Admission Test probably contains the most one need to know. Generally, Business is all Maths even the Math light subjects like marketing require some algebra and statistics. One is guaranteed to get into subjects in finance, economics, and accounting. CAT or Common Admission Test is all-India national level computer based test which is conducted by IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management) as entrance exam for admission to management programmes. Based on CAT percentile score, one is called for next stage of selection rejection process which usually consists of Group Discussion, Essay and Personal Interview (GDPI). CAT Maths/Quant Ability Syllabus: ■ Number Systems ■ Percentage ■ Interest (Simple and Compound) ■ Time and Work ■ Ratio and Proportion ■ Quadratic Equations ■ Logarithm ■ Binomial Theorem ■ Inequalities ■ Probability ■ Set Theory ■ Geometry ■ Trigonometry ■ LCM and HCF ■ Profit and Loss ■ Speed, Time and Distance ■ Average ■ Linear Equations ■ Complex Numbers ■ Progressions ■ Surds and Indices ■ Permutation and Combination ■ Functions ■ Mixtures and Alligations ■. Co-ordinate Geometry ■ Mensuration |
