Can you please give me eligibility criteria for appearing in MHT-CET B.Ed examination??

Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra conducts MHT-CET B.Ed examination every year

Eligibility:

-You must have completed your Graduation/ Post Graduation from recognized Non- Agriculture University/ Agriculture Science/ Computer Deemed University in Arts/ Agriculture University/Open University/Science/ Commerce/ Home Science / Information Technology/ Engineering with minimum 40% marks.

-Candidates from other then Maharashtra Universities must have secured minimum 45% marks at Graduate/Post Graduate degree will be eligible for CET examination being conducted for B. Ed. Admission.

- If you want to seek admission in English Medium Colleges of Education then will have to appear for English Language Knowledge Test along with CET

Reservation:

The category-wise reservation is as under:

Schedule Tribe Candidates 7%
Schedule Caste Candidates 13%
De- notified Tribes (14 similar tribes) (VJ/DT) 3%
Other Backward Class (OBC) 19%
Nomadic Tribes (Dhanagar and Similar tribes) (NT- 2) 3.5%
Nomadic Tribes (Vanjari and Similar tribes ) (NT-3) 2%
Nomadic Tribes (28 tribes before January 1990 2.5
and similar tribes) (NT-1) 2.5%

Tentative dates:

Data of Issue of Application: First week of April
Exam Date: Last week of May

Medium of CET: Marathi/English only.

Exam Pattern:

Mental Ability,
Teacher Aptitude and
General Knowledge
