Minimum percentage for UGC NET
I want to give the National Eligibility Test (NET) of University Grants Commission and for that I want to get the details of eligibility criteria so can you provide me that as it is very urgent for me?

As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria of exam of National Eligibility Test (NET) of University Grants Commission so here is the information of the same for you: Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed with minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC (list attached page No. 21 to 47) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. (list of subjects of post graduation attached at page No. 18 to 19) are eligible for this Test. Candidates who are in the final year of Master's degree and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991(irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET. Candidates need to appear in the subject of their post graduation only. AGE LIMIT: Junior Research Fellowship: Candidates must be not more than 28 years of age Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor. Only PwD candidates have to fill this column and the others have to leave it blank. v) Whether they have kept a printout of application form (confirmation page) for their own record.
