National Defence Academy is a joint training institution and center of excellence for preparing leaders for the Indian armed forces and armed forces of Friendly Foreign Countries. To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam which is conducted twice a year mostly in March and August. The UPSC issues guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the entrance examination. Minimum Criteria:- Age Between :- 19 ½ years Qualification :- 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF & Navy Marital Status :- Unmarried Exam Pattern and Syllabus:- There will be two examination NDA 1 and NDA 2. Each examination is of 900 marks. Paper 1 is completely written test while paper 2 contains written test and as well as interview. You can select the language of question paper as well. Question paper will be available in both languages Hindi and English. Time duration for each paper is two and half hours. Paper-1: Mathematics: Algebra Matrices and Determination Trigonometry Analytical Geometry Differential Calculus Integral Calculus and Differential Equations Vector Algebra Statistics and Probability Paper-2 General Ability Test: English General Knowledge I am also attaching a question paper of NDA so that you can prepare well which you can download by clicking on the following file.      |
