The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is a statutory as well as autonomous body established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965. The mainly prominent task of the board is to conduct the Maharashtra SSC (Class 10) and Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) Examination.

The exams are held in March and the MSBSHSE result 2016 is declared in June. The exams are held throughout the state of Maharashtra.

The board will officially publish the result for both these examinations on its website. The exams were held by the board from 18th February till 28th March, 2016.
