This is joseph . I belong to Christian family. I want to apply for Bsc in Mysore University . Is there any department for Christian Studies in Mysore University? If it is right please provide me the necessary details for admission… The Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Christianity was initiated in the University of Mysore in the year 1980 at the Post Graduate level to advance higher reviews and research in Christian belief system in the pluralistic, multi-religious and mainstream setting of Indian reality. The rule push of this Department is to advance national advance and coordination, social and religious concordance and enhancement of the people by the comprehension of world religions and societies through research into the Christian qualities. Courses Offered Course Duration Eligibility Criteria 1. M.A 2 Years, 4 Semesters (CBCS Scheme) Degree with Christianity as a noteworthy/discretionary subject or Degree in Christianity or Theology of some other University perceived by the University of Mysore or any Bachelors Degree of this University or of other University perceived as proportionate with at least 45% (40%in instance of SC/ST/Cat-1) 2. M.Phil 1 Year, 2 Semesters M.A. in Christianity from Mysore University or some other University perceived by UGC with at least 55% checks in M.A. in Christianity. 3. Ph.D 2-5 Years M.A. in Christianity from this University or some other University with 55% of total imprints (half for SC/ST/Cat-1/Physically Challenged) or equal review under evaluating framework in Master's Degree or proportional examination from perceived Universities/Institutions perceived by UGC Faculty Dr.Valindin Rajendra Kumar Assistant Professor and Chairman Guest Faculties: 1.
