CMAT Exam Pattern:

Questions divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions.

25 questions in each section having a maximum of 100 marks.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Logical reasoning
Language comprehension
General awareness

Score 4 marks for each right answer
Lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Syllabus :

Quantitative techniques section covers subjects such as Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Number Systems, Set Theory, Permutations & Combinations and other miscellaneous topics.

Data Interpretation, the subjects covered are tables calculation, Line & Bar Graphs, Pie Charts, Case lets based DI, Combination Tables/Graphs, Reasoning – Tables, Graphs and miscellaneous or Non classifiable concepts & Unusual Graphs

Logical Reasoning, the topics covered are Circular, Linear, , Blood Relations & Family Trees, Groupings Tabular Arrangements, Visual Reasoning, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Reasoning Series, Truth / Lies and multiple other concepts and miscellaneous or Non Classifiable concepts.

Reading Comprehension covers topics based on: Passage Structure, Inference Fact, Tone, Main Idea or Title or Author, Attitude, or miscellaneous type passages.

General Knowledge (GK) covers informational topics from news, sports, history, etc
