Students who have been working in a health care field may also qualify for extra points on the Admission rubric for Practical Nursing.


Certified Medical Office Assistants only may qualify for admission by testing out of specific skills instead of completing their CNA certification.


Admission Requirements
Applicants should have Grade 12 with a minimum 65% average in these 5 subjects:

Applicants should have English Language Arts A30

Applicants should have English Language Arts B30

Applicants should have Foundations of Math 30 or Pre-Calculus 30 or Workplace and Apprenticeship Math 30

Applicants should have One of Biology 30, Chemistry 30 or Physics 30

Applicants should have One of Social Studies 30, History 30 or Native Studies 30

Accepted Applicants must provide:
Current immunization records

Proof of current Standard First Aid and CPR Heart Saver “C” AED or equivalent

Proof of current Transferring, Lifting and Re-positioning (TLR) certification

Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector
