Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

Full-Time MBA



One must have secured a recognised bachelor degree (3 years minimum duration) or should have passed an equivalent examination

During all the years of Degree Examination, one must have attained an aggregate of 50% marks or more in all the subjects

One belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka should have attained 45% marks in the qualifying examination


Part-Time MBA

One should hold a recognised Bachelor’s Degree. The duration of the program should be 3 years/ one should have appeared for an equivalent examination

One should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks or more (taking into consideration all the subjects) in all the years of the Degree exam – this percentage is 45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I for Karnataka candidates

Apart from obtaining the degree, one should hold work experience of not less than 3 years as on July, 2020


Eligibility Criteria for PGCET MBA Government Seats for Karnataka State Candidates

One must have studied and passed in one or more Government or Government recognized educational institutions located in Karnataka.

The total number of academic years should be 7, starting from standard 1 to Qualifying Examination as on July 1 (the year in which the Entrance Test is held).

One should have passed SSLC / standard 10th or 2nd PUC / standard 12th exam – the institute must be Government recognized and should be located in Karnataka
