AP Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. PGECET Exam is common Entrance Test carried out by the students aiming for the Post Graduation in Engineering Courses. This exam is valid for the colleges located in Andhra Pradesh. AP PGECET Exam Pattern : PGECET Exam is of 2 Hours Duration and Carries a Maximum of 120 Marks. All the Question Papers of PGECET will be fully objective type. Each question has one marks for correct answer There is No Negative Marks for Wrong Answer PGECET Syllabus for Electronics and Communication Engineering Engineering Mathematics Linear Algebra: Matrices and Determinants, Systems of linear equations, Eigen values and Eigen vectors. Differential equations: First order equation (linear and nonlinear), Higher order linear differential equations with constant coefficients, Method of variation of parameters, Cauchy's and Euler's equations, Initial and boundary value problems, Partial Differential Equations and variable separable method. Complex variables: Analytic functions, Cauchy's integral theorem and integral formula, Taylor's and Laurent' series, Residue theorem, solution integrals. Probability and Statistics: Probability, conditional probability, Discrete and continuous random variables, probability distribution and density functions. Exponential, Poisson, Normal and Binomial distributions functions. Mean, Mean square and standard deviation. Numerical Methods: Solutions of non-linear algebraic equations, single and multi-step methods for differential equations.
