Mumbai University has invited application for PhD in following specialization:-

Economics, Sociology, Chemical Technology, Statistics, Civics and Politics, Psychology, Law, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Marathi, Geography, Gujarati, Hindi, Physics, Education, Computer Science, Kannada, Commerce, Life Sciences, Sindhi, Urdu, Philosophy, German, Russian, Arabic and French.

Eligibility to apply for PhD at Mumbai University:

You must have passed the Master’s degree examination from recognised university with minimum 55% marks in the subject of his/her interest.

Selection procedure for admission to PhD at Mumbai University:

Admission to PhD will be based on PhD Entrance Test (PET).

The PET 2013 will be held on 21st April 2013.
Candidates can apply on/before 17th April 2013.

Exam Patter for PET 2013:

The question paper will consist of three types of questions viz. Objective-40 marks; short answers-30 marks and long answers-30 marks.
