I want to get admission in The Petroleum Institute so can you please tell me the TOEFL scores required for admission?

Admission to the Graduate program at The Petroleum Institute is available to highly qualified UAE Nationals and non-Nationals.

Employees of ADNOC and its group companies will receive preference for admission.

Accepted applicants without a minimum score of TOEFL iBT 61 or Academic IELTS 6.0, may be placed into one of the following programs, based on their PI placement test scores:

The Intensive English Language (IEM) Program: English + Math + Science courses

OR

The Academic Bridge Program (ABP): AP level courses or Preparatory level courses.

The PI no longer accepts TOEFL PBT scores.

TOEFL/IELTS should be done from the below approved centres-

TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) Academic IELTS
AMIDEAST, Abu Dhabi British Council, Abu Dhabi
AMIDEAST, Dubai British Council, Dubai
AMIDEAST, American
University of Sharjah (AUS) British Council, Sharjah
University of Wollongong, Abu Dhabi
University of Wollongong, Dubai

Tests taken from any other centre will not be considered.

The test scores should be sent to PI directly from the testing centre.

Accepted applicants with a minimum score of TOEFL iBT 61 or Academic IELTS 6.0, may be placed directly.
