Procedure to IPS officer after B.Tech
I want to know the Procedure to IPS officer after B.Tech, will you please tell me the same????? In the order to become Indian Police Service officer, you need to appear in Civil Services exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Following are the details of this examination: Nationality: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Required qualification: The applicant should have completed grdautaion with good academic record from any recognized university of India. Age limits: Minimum 21 years of age. The maximum age allowed is 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. 3 years for OBC candidates. Physical Requirements: MALE - HEIGHT-165 cm,If ST Category-160 cm. Female-155 cm,If ST Category-150 cm. CHEST: MALE:84cm,Expansion-5 cm. FEMALE:79cm,Expansion-5 cm.
