As you want to get the details of process to become an Airport Customs Officer so here is the information of the same for you: Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed graduation with minimum of 55% from recognized institute are eligible to apply for the post Selection Procedure: Selection of ‘Group A’ Officers in Customs department is carried out through CSAT exam which is conducted by UPSC Candidate should mention their preferred area (like IAS, Revenue Service, etc) under Civil service at the time of application submission itself. There will be separate column for the same in the application form. Therefore, those who wish to become Customs Officer must mention Indian Customs and Central Excise Service (IC&CES), as the most preferred choice. Syllabus of Paper I -(200 marks) Duration : Two hours Current events of national and international importance. History of India and Indian National Movement. Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic. Geography of India and the World. Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political. System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. Economic and Social Development-Sustainable. Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social. Sector Initiatives, etc. General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization.
