PTET Punjab or PSTET (Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test) is an exam ability and general knowledge or eligibility of the applied candidates who seeking to get job as a teacher under the guidelines of SCERT , Punjab for class 1 to 8.

Primary Level Teachers (Class 1 to 5)
Junior Level Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

Educational qualification:

For class 1 to 5 teachers:
Candidates must have passed class 12 with 50% marks and should have passed or appearing for Diploma in Elementary Education or passed class 12 with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year for B.El.Ed

For 6 to 8 teacher:
Candidates must have passed or appearing in final year for Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with 50% marks and passed B.Ed or Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final for B.El.Ed

Application fee:

For paper I or II: General/ OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 300/-

For both paper I and II: General/ OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 1000/- and SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 600/-
