Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test TET exam is conducted by State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab for appointing the candidates on Teacher Post in Primary Stage and Elementary Stage.

Punjab TET exam Eligibility Criteria-

For Primary Stage Teacher (Class I-V):

Candidates should have Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks & passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Elementary Stage Teacher (Class VI-VIII):

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma I Elementary Education.

Application Fees:

For SC/ST candidates for one paper Rs.300/- and for both papers 600/-

For all the General/ OBC candidates for one paper Rs.600/- and for both papers Rs.1200/-
