The Department of English in the Pune University campus is making progress toward improvement of the dialect and giving top to bottom stylish learning and an excitement to welcome the dialect in its creativity to the understudies who come here to benefit themselves of the course. Number of understudies from Iran, Yemen and different parts of the world want post graduate and in addition Research Studies.

Scholarly

1. M.A.

The M.A. program comprises of 4 semesters. Understudies need to take 4 courses for every semester, over a base time of 2 years. The courses taught in the Department of English, University of Pune are unique in relation to courses taught in other post-graduate focuses of the University of Pune. Every course includes 2 inward tests, and one semester-end examination. Understudies' execution is reviewed in number of imprints, and in an evaluation scale. The last result sheets and declarations reflect both checks, and grades.

Classes are regularly held between 9 a.m. to 5 a.m.

2. M.Phil.

The M.Phil. project is isolated into two streams, dialect, and writing. A course on Research Methodology is regular and necessary for both the streams. There is one mandatory course each for the two streams. Subsequent to finishing these taught courses, understudies are offered some incompletely taught courses, after which they are offered perusing courses. After the course work is over, understudies need to show up for a last examination, after which they are relied upon to compose their papers on the subjects they have picked.

Classes are typically held between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the course work span is around 6 months.
