Required percentage for UPSC Exam
Hey, I score 60% marks in Graduation with commerce field will you tell me what is the percentage criteria for civil service exams conducted by UPSC ? Hey, there is not any percentage criteria, candidate should passed in graduation exam to appear in civil service exams conducted by UPSC. Eligibility: Age Limit General 21 to 30 year OBC 21 to 33 year SC/ST 21 to 35 year Qualification: Candidates must passed in graduation degree program. Nationality: a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee Number of attempt: General Category Candidates and OBC Category Candidates under the Creamy layer = 6 attempts OBC Category Candidates = 9 attempts SC/ST Candidates = Unlimited Selection Process: 1. Written Test (a) Prelims (b) mains 2. Interview. Examination Pattern: Preliminary Examination There are two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in the Civil Services Prelims Exam. Both the question papers are of the objective type (multiple choice questions) of two hours each. (ii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills would be provided only in English. (iii) Blind candidates would be allowed an extra 20 minutes of time at each paper. Main Examination The written examination will consist of the following papers: Paper-I Section 1 Essay 200 Marks Section 2 English Comprehension & English Précis 100 Marks (The level of paper would be Matriculation/ Xth standard level) Paper-II General Studies–I 250Marks (Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society) Paper-III General Studies –II 250 Marks (Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations) Paper-IV General Studies –III 250 Marks (Technology, Economic Development, Bio-diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management) Paper-V General Studies –IV 250 Marks (Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude) Paper-VI Optional Subject – Paper 1 250 Marks Paper-VII Optional Subject – Paper 2 250 Marks Last edited by Neelurk; June 25th, 2020 at 10:44 AM. |
