Arithmetic operations on images, Image Negative, Image Cropping 2. Histogram Processing – Techniques 3. Line and Edge detection 4. FFT and DCT of images 5. Contact stretching, Threshold technique - Enhancement 6. Adaptive filters. Sharpening and smoothing Filters. 7. Restoration filters- Median Filtering, Mean, Min-Max, Band pass/Rejects, and notch. 8. Compression technique 9. Basic Morphological Operations 10. Segmentation using watershed transform SUGGESTED LIST OF EXPERIMENTS - SIGNAL PROCESSING 1. Representation of basic signals 2. Sampling and Quantization 3. Fast Fourier transform of the signals 4. Circular convolution and Linear convolution 5. Digital IIR filter (Butter worth &Chebyshev) 6.
