State Bank of India (SBI) conducts an exam for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer (PO) for its branches across the country.

Important Dates (2015)
Online registration starts from -1st week of April
Payment of fees (online) - 1st week to last week of April
Payment of fees (offline) -1st week to last week of April
Exam date (tentative) June 2015

Eligibility:
1. Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Final year students can also apply
2. A candidate should be between 21 - 30 years


Pattern of exam:

Duration of exam was of 2 hours.

The objective test is immediately followed by a descriptive test.

How to Apply
Step I. Register and get the registration number and password generated.
Step II. Pay the fee of Rs. 500 (General & Others) or Rs. 100 (SC/ST/PWD) using either:
• Online Mode – through Debit / Credit cards or Internet Banking
• Offline Mode - through any branch of SBI
