Central Connecticut State University is a public university in New Britain, Connecticut. Founded in 1849 as the State Normal School, CCSU is Connecticut's oldest publicly funded university

Minor in Sociology

Students are required to take 18 credits of course work in Sociology, including:

SOC 110 Introductory Sociology 3 credits
or

SOC 111 Social Problems 3 credits

Electives:

3 Credit 200 Level Course

12 Credits of electives which must be at the 300 or 400 level (3 courses).
