As a tax payer customers you need to have a bank account enabled for net banking facility with transaction rights in anyone of SBI branches.

Process for to Direct and Indirect tax payment:

On SBI page Click the Direct Taxes (OLTAS) link.
Click the challan No. applicable.
Enter the PAN, name, address, assessment year, major head, minor head, type of payment etc.
Select State Bank of India from the Bank name list
After this process you need to again login with OnlineSBI login page.
Enter your Internet Banking user ID and password.
Enter the tax amount and submit the page.
You are displayed a confirmation page indicating the status of the transaction.
