Re: Statistics Scope
As you want to know about the Statistics so let me explain you :- Statistics is the revise of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. In applying statistics to, e.g., a methodical, industrial, or societal problem, it is conventional to begin with a statistical inhabitants or a statistical model process to be studied. Populations can be diverse topics such as "all people living in a country" or "every atom composing a crystal". Statistics deals with all aspects of data including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of investigations and experiments. Scope:- Statistics is a mathematical body of science that relates to the collection, analysis, interpretation or explanation, and presentation of data, or as a branch of mathematics. Some believe statistics to be a distinct mathematical science rather than a branch of mathematics. Mathematical statistics- Main article: Mathematical statistics Mathematical statistics is the application of mathematics to statistics, which was initially conceived as the science of the state — the collection and analysis of facts about a country: its economy, land, military, population, and so forth. Mathematical methods used for this include mathematical analysis, linear algebra, stochastic analysis, degree of difference equations, and measure-theoretic probability theory. |
