Re: University Of Utah Children's Summer Camps

The various programs target elementary, junior high and high school students and it involves current engineering students as much as possible so that they can share their enthusiasm with others. Several programs are specifically planned to reach out to under-represented minorities and women.

Summer Camp at Uteh College of Engineering:

Hi-GEAR (Girls Engineering Abilities Realized) Camp
June 22-26, 2015: 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily
Audience: Female students currently in 9th-12th grade

xploring Engineering Camp
June 16-18, 2015
9:00 a.m. ā€“ 4:00 p.m. (ends at 3:00 p.m. on the 18th)
Audience: 10th-12th grade, girls and boys aged 15-18

Intro to Entertainment Arts and Engineering
Multiple Dates in June, July, and August 2015
Audience: girls and boys aged 7-18

GREAT Camps
Dates: Six one-week camps in June and July 2015
Consists of:
GREAT-Elementary
GREAT-Middle school
GREAT-Advanced Robotics
GREAT-Advanced Programming

Summer Transportation Institute Camp
July 13-17, 2015
8:00 a.m. ā€“ 5:00 p.m. daily
Audience: 9th grade high school students
