West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and pharmacy.

WBJEE Admission Criteria

General Eligibility Criteria of WBJEE

Nationality - The candidates should have Indian nationality.

Age Limit –

Required to be at least 17 years
There is no upper age limit. However, for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years

Educational Qualifications –

Candidates should have passed 10+2th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Mathematics and Physics along with any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects.

The mentioned subjects should have been passed individually in regular class mode (theory and practical). Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination will also be eligible for WBJEE. The board of the qualifying examination should be recognized by Central and State government.
