West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is a prerequisite examination for admissions to undergraduate Medical and Dental programme colleges of West Bengal.

Eligibility

Citizen: Applicant must be a citizen of India

Age restriction: Candidates can must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age. There is no upper age limit.

Domicile:

Candidates seeking admission to medical or dental colleges of West Bengal must be domicile of West Bengal and accordingly submission of Domicile certificate in prescribed format from competent authority is mandatory.

Academic qualifications:

Candidate must have passed the 10+2/Higher Secondary School Examination/equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in the 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects (40% for SC/ST Candidates, 45% OBC-A, OBC-B Candidates). And, candidates must have studied English as a subject and secured 30% marks in 10+2 level.
