The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Medical, commonly known as WBJEE Medical will be conducted tentatively in the month of May, 2016 for admissions to 85% MBBS and BDS seats

Eligibility
Candidates must be a citizen of India

Candidates must be 17 years of age as on 31 December, 2016

Candidates must reside in West Bengal continuously at least for 10 years

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% in PCB. Whereas for SC/ST candidates minimum marks are 40% and for OBC candidates minimum marks are 45%

Application fees
Candidate applying for WBJEE Medical 2016 has to pay Rs.500 (five hundred) as application fee through 'Online' mode

Exam pattern
WBJEE Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on July 20, 2016 on the syllabus as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, i.e. WBJEE Board.

The question paper booklet of WBJEE Medical 2016 will consist of 195 questions, where 115 questions would be of Biology, and 40 each of Physics and Chemistry.

Application Procedure
The application form of WBJEE Medical 2016 were released from January 5, 2016 and last date for online registration was February 29, 2016.

Candidates had to fill the WBJEE Medical application form in online mode and fee had to be remitted through bank challan or online payment gateway.
