The GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test) is a state level entrance examination organized by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa. As you want important dates, so here are important dates: Events Dates Notification release date 21st March 2017 Application (Form A) starts & collecting admit card 3rd April 2017 – 8th April 2017 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) Exam date 9th May 2017 (Physics & Chemistry) 10th May 2017 (Mathematics & Biology) Result announcement Third week of May, 2017 Submission of application for admission (Form B/B1/B2) 18th May to 26th May 2017 I am providing information about eligibility criteria: Courses available for admission through GCET: MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing and Allied Health Science Courses. Age Limit: 17 Years for MBBS / BDS / B.SC Nursing / BHMS and Allied Health Science Courses Educational Qualification: 10+2 Passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with minimum 50% marks Exam Pattern: Question Type: Multiple Choice Objective Type No. of Question: Each paper will consist of 75 questions Duration: 2 Hours for Each Paper Marking: 1 Mark for Each Answer Negative Marking: No Negative Marking Subjects No. of Questions Marks Physics 75 75 Chemistry 75 75 Biology 75 75 Mathematics 75 75 Seat Reserved: Categories Seats Reserved Scheduled Castes (SC) 2% Scheduled Tribes (ST) 12% Other Backward Communities (OBC) 27% Physically Handicapped (PH) 3% Freedom Fighters (FF) 1% Non-resident Indian (NRI) 5% |
