Yes, you are right Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test commonly referred as NEET 2016 for admissions to medical colleges in academic year 2016-17. the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT 2016) which is scheduled to be conducted on May 1 will be treated as NEET Stage 1 As by the order of Supreme Court

But According to me the AIIMS does not participate in NEET Examination
the Admission into the AIIMS will be Based on His own Entrance test Conducted by its own the details of the AIIMS Entrance Test is given below :

AIIMS MBBS entrance exam on in online mode for admission to 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions

Eligibility Criteria :

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible

Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination

Age: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission

Education Qualification: Applicants have passed the 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an same examination from a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State
