The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has Admission will be done on the basis of JEE Main and JEE Advanced score. Programs offers : The 4 year B.Tech course is provided in: B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering B.Tech in Avionics 5 year Dual Degree Course, Comprises of B.Tech and M.S/M.Tech in the followings Streams: M.S. in Astronomy & Astrophysics M.S. in Earth System Science M.S. in Solid State Physics M.Tech. in Optical Engineering Seat Distribution : Aerospace Engineering 60 Avionics 60 Dual Degree 20 Total 140 Reservation of Seats : Scheduled Castes (SC) – 15% Scheduled Tribes (ST) – 7.5% Other Backward Castes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) – 27% Persons with Disabilities (PD) – 3% (Horizontal Reservation) Eligibility Criteria : Nationality: Only Indian citizens will be granted admission in UG Degree courses, in IIST. Age: General and OBC category candidates, seeking admission, must be born on or after 1 October 1991. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category are entitled to the relaxation of 5 years, i.e. must be born on or after 1 October 1986. Education Qualification: Candidates should have been passed with an aggregate of, at least, 70% marks (60% for SC, ST, PwD) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. The application fee for the exam will be as below: Rs. 600 for male candidates belonging to General and OBC category Rs. 300 for female candidates belonging to General and OBC category Rs. 300 for all, male and female, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD category |
