The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education institute of TIFR is invited candidates for to fill application for PHD.

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR) runs a Graduate School in Science Education.

Students admitted to the School go through a programme of courses and field work or project work, followed by a dissertation on an approved topic of research leading to the degree of Ph.D. in Science Education of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, which is a Deemed University.

Important dates:

Submission deadline: March 15, 2017
Date of Written Test: May 14, 2017 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
Interviews: June 3rd week, 2017

Eligibility:

M.Sc. (in any subject), M. Tech or a Master\'s degree (M.A./ M.S.W.) in any of the social/ behavioural sciences/ psychology/ linguistics/ sociology/ economics/ anthropology or any allied disciplines, M.Ed.

Exam Fee
₹ 600

Scholarships:
₹ 25000 per month till registration, ₹ 28000 per month post-registration
Additionally, 30% HRA in lieu of on-campus institute accommodation
Annual contingency grant of ₹ 32000
