Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was formed on 15 August 1969. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Indian government. It’s headquarter is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The prime objective of ISRO is to develop space technology and its application to various national tasks. ISRO is managed by the Department of Space (DoS) of the Government of India. ISRO has following institutes under it: Indian Space Research Organisation Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
