At this time the UPSC was closed its all notification for IES/ISS examination. There is no any active link for IES /ISS examination by UPSC.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) was issued a notification for Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services which is held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from 13 May, 2016.

IES/ISS Examination was schedule to hold from 13th May, 2016 at various centres. Online registration of application was started from 16th January 2016 to 12th February 2016.

Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and below 30 years

Education Qualification

For Indian Economic Service:
Candidate must hold a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics

For Indian Statistical Service:
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics

Selection Process:
Selection will be made through a combined competitive examination. Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination was commencing from 13 May, 2016 at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttak, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad centres.

Application Fee:
Application fee charges are Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only)

Candidates can apply online only for IES/ISS Examination through website of UPSC



Candidate must have a valid and active email id and mobile numbers. Candidate may download e-Admit cards through UPSC Website
