Government of Assam in coordination with department of school education and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) will conduct the Assam Teachers Eligibility Test or Assam TET 2017.

One who is interested to apply for the post of teachers from classes 1-8 have to fill the online application form for Assam TET 2017. One who qualifies the exam will be posted as teacher in the state of Assam.

One has the choice of two papers in Assam Teachers Eligibility Test, Paper 1 is for candidates interested to teach classes 1-5 and paper 2 for candidates interested to teach class 1-8. Candidates who are interested in both can appear for Paper 1 and Paper 2 both.

Assam TET Eligibility Criteria 2017

• Age Limit: One should not be more than 38 years of age as on January 1, 2017. Upper age limit for candidates of SC/ST category is relax able by 5 years.

• Nationality: One must be citizens of India.

• Educational Qualification: One must be Graduate from a recognized University with B.T/B. Ed. from a recognized University and should possess requisite qualification for relevant subjects. Degrees served from off Campus Centres shall not be accepted. Degrees means a Bachelor degree, no equivalence will be allowed.

Application Fees:
The Application Fees for the Assam TET Exam 2017 is INR 400 & Reserve Candidates will get relaxation as per according to the Rules.
