I am resident of Karnataka and planning to apply for the Karnataka Public Service Commission Civil service exam searching for the exam details. Can you please tell Karnataka State Civil Services Examination process also tell in how many stages this exam was conducted?

Karnataka Public Service Commission or the KPSC exam also known as the KAS exam was constituted under the provisions of the Constitution of India on 18 May 1951. Examination Process: The examination is a three stage process: Stage I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) for the Selection of candidates to the main examination; and Stage II: Main Examination (Written Examination) for selection of candidates to the personality test. Stage III: Personality test: For final selection of candidates to various posts/ cadres. Eligibility: Academic: Graduation Age : 21-30 years. relaxable for SC/ST/BT/BC candidates. Plan of Examination: Compulsory Papers Essay General English General Knowledge. Optional Papers Group `A' - 5 Subjects Group `B' -3 Subjects. Note: Examination is followed by a Personality Test.
