As per your request I am posting some important dates related to exam and other details which I hope you like : Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts its Primary and Mains exams for the recruitment to IAS, IPS, IFS Group 'A' and some Group 'B' services. A candidate must be at least 21 years of age and less than 31 years of age A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university. A candidate appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree and awaiting result, can also apply, A candidate who has their professional and technical qualification degree from recognized can also apply. Syllabus: Paper I : General Studies (GS) - 200 marks - 2 hours Subject Area Current events of national & international importance History of India and Indian National Movement Indian and World Geography - Phsical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the world Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Right Issues, etc. Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc. General issues on Environmentel Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialisation General Science Negative Marking: 1/3rd of marks allotted for every question Paper II : Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) - 200 marks - 2 hours Subject Area Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability Decision-making & Problem-solving General Mental Ability Basic Numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (CLass X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc. - Class X Level) English Language Comprehension Skills (Class X Level) Negative Marking: 1/3rd of marks allotted for every question Selection Process: The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two stages: (i)Preliminary Examination (Objective type) comprising 2 exams : General Studies and CSAT (ii)Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview) Process to apply: You can apply directly from the official website of UPSC.
