Re: Requirements for CAT Exam

CAT (Common Admission Test) is a computer based test conducted in India by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). It is conducted annually by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation for admission in Management Programs.

The test score of a candidate help them to take admission into esteemed management institutes of India, most of the questions are asked from Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, verbal ability and Logical Reasoning.

CAT Eligibility Criteria

• One should have passed and obtained Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institute.

• The minimum percentage of aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA to be obtained or secured by the applicants is 50% for General category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.

• Final year graduation student is also eligible to appear for the exam provided one fulfil the Bachelor degree cut-off and other factors within the stipulated schedule given by IIMs and other participating institutes.
