The IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is a university level examination organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

Examination Pattern :

It is a pen-paper based test, where 150 objective type questions will be asked.
Duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
Each question shall carry 4 marks, making the total to be 600. For every incorrect answer marked by the candidates, 1 mark will be deducted.

Syllabus :

English Language & Comprehension – Grammar, Vocabulary, Uncommon words, Antonyms, Relationship between words & phrases, Sentence completion, Synonyms & Comprehension of passages etc.

Numerical Ability & Mathematics – Numerical calculation, Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Simple algebra, Geometry, Interpretation of graphs, charts and tables etc.

Logical Reasoning & Data interpretation – Creative thinking, Finding patterns, trends Unfamiliar relationships, Verbal reasoning & Assessment of figures & diagrams etc.
General Awareness – Knowledge of current affairs, Other issues related to trade, sports, culture, industry, economy, and science etc.
