Re: Teacher Eligibility Test (Tet) West Bengal

West Bengal TET Conducted by Higher Education Board of West Bengal, for the recruitment of teachers at West Bengal Govt. Schools, they conducted Teachers Eligibility Test Examination for the selection of class I to XII teachers.

West Bengal Govt. divided West Bengal TET exam into 3 ways

WB Primary Teacher:
West Bengal TET Category I Exam for Lower Primary Teacher (Class I to V) in West Bengal Govt Primary Schools
West Bengal TET Category II Exam for Secondary Teacher in West Bengal Board Govt. Schools conducted by WBSSC i.e West Bengal School Service Commission.

Eligibility:

For Primary Teacher (Class I to V):
Candidates should pass the Senior Secondary or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks.

For Upper Primary Teacher (Class VI to VIII):
Candidates should pass the B.Sc/ B.A or equivalent to this.
Those are appearing in B.Ed/Secondary Education and also pass with it minimum 50% marks.

Application Fee:
Application fees for General and OBC-A/OBC-B candidates: Rs. 250 /-
Application fees for reserved (SC/ST/ PH-VH/PH-HI/PH-OH) categories: Rs.80 /-.
