I am looking to get the admission to the Mayo College at the Ajmer can you please help me in this? The origin of Mayo College, that is among the one of the oldest Public Schools in the country, dates back to the year 1869, when Col F K M Walter, the Political Agent of the Bharatpur Agency recommended a school in India that caters for the English and the elite people in the country. Here are the details of the admissions to the college- Admissions in Mayo College are made on the basis of the performance of the aspirants in the Common Aptitude Analysis of the institutes . Brothers of present student and children of Old Boys are given weight age while granting the admission to the college. Admissions are finalized by the Education Committee of the institute comprising members of the Board of which the Principal is a member. The merit list is drawn on the basis of performance in Aptitude Analysis and those who qualify are asked to appear for an interaction in the month of December, January or February at the institute. Admissions to the institute are finalized on the cumulative performance of Aptitude Analysis and the interaction of the students at the institute. The new entrants join in the month of April. The Common Aptitude Analysis is held only for admission upto Class IX at the school. For entrance to Class XI at the college , admission is considered on the basis of the Board’s result of Class X. Admission is subject to merit and vacancy at the school.
