Minimum Percentage for appearing in UPSC Exam
What is the minimum percentage required to appear for UPSC - Civil services Exam? Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Civil service exams and to sit in this exam there is no such specific percentage criteria, you just need to pass degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India Civil Services Examination Eligibility -You must be a citizen of: A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. -You must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India -You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August -The upper age limit is relaxed upto a maximum of : SC / ST 5 OBC 3 Defense Services personnel 3 Domiciled in J&K during the period 01/01/1980 - 31/12/1989 5 Important Dates Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2014 Date of notification: 17 May, 2014 Last date for receipt of application: 16 June ,2014 Commencement of exam: 24 August , 2014 Duration of exam: 1 day Civil Services Mains Exam 2014 Commencement of exam: 14 December , 2014 Duration of exam: 5 days Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2014 Last edited by Neelurk; May 19th, 2020 at 12:06 PM. |
